Team project with Shu Wang where we came up with an eco-friendly alternative to acrylic nails for a Biodesign Challenge in New York.

We have developed a successful prototype using Gelatin bio-plastic for the extension, keratin-based adhesive, and chitin for waterproofing. Our goal was to make an affordable, easy-to-use, and safe alternative for acrylic nails.
