ANTHROPOLOGIE
INTERN
PROJECT

Project type:

Intern project

Date:

2023

Intern project for Anthropologie. The objective was to design 6 jackets S/S 2024 for 2 sub-brands of Anthropologie: Pilcro and By Anthro respecting their different aesthetics and overall brand identity.

The project shows concept development and trend research, sketch ideation, and final designs. Anthropologie's target customer is well-read, well-traveled, and somewhat adventurous in their wardrobe choice. She is not afraid to experiment and enjoys pulling inspiration for her style from her various travels.

Pilcro brand is casual\efortless dressing, which focuses a lot on the sustainability of materials used and treatment of fabric. So for this brand, I developed a concept of the customer going on the ceramics date with her partner. The designs are sensual and use light natural\linen fabrics with distinct textures.

By Anthro is a bohemian and delicate version of Pilcro that often plays with deco fabrics and interesting patterns. For this brand, the concept is that the customer spends a Siesta in Venice wandering leisurely through the ancient streets after spending the morning at an art gallery. This collection is inspired by tile prints, Murano glass, and Venetian Gothic architecture.
